Mapping
There are three potential wrapping methods: Planar is simply flat mapping to two axis, cylindrically mapping is simply wrapping the texture around the object and spherical mapping does the same but also wraps the textures at the poles. All of the mapping modes are shown below:

Different Mapping Modes
Planar Cylindrical Spherical
U and V Repeats
The U and V Repeats control the number of times the texture repeats in the horizontal and vertical axes respectively.

Seed
The Seed values controls the seed for mixing when the Mix Tiles option is enabled. Basically, the Mix Tiles options allows the value returned for each tile to vary between the Upper and Lower Mix Values and this parameter changes random seed creating different patterns.

Upper and Lower Mix
The Upper and Lower Mix values control the maximum and minimum values used when the Mix Tiles option is enabled.

Mix Tiles
The Mix Tile option allows the values returned to be mixed on a tile by tile basis. Normally, a single value is returned for each tile and each tile is therefore the same color, bump height, etc. However, with this option enabled the tiles values are mixed between the Upper and Lower Mix values. This allows each tiles to be a different shade, height, etc.
