To Install an IFW Texture Plug-in (Intel):
  • Create a directory under your main Lightwave or Inspire directory (example - c:/newtek) called "ifw2_textures" (example - c:/newtek/ifw2_textures). This assumes that the directory has not already been created.
  • Unzip the plug-in to this directory overwriting any existing files.
  • Run Lightwave in Layout and select Options. Then click on Layout->Plug-ins->Add Plug-ins and browse to the directory where the plug-ins were unzipped (example - c:/newtek/ifw2_textures). Finally, select all the 19 plug-ins to install them.

  • Unzip the presets to this directory ensuring that the create folders option is on.
  • So, using /lightwave/programs/presets/
    or /lightwave/programs/lightwave_support/presets/
As the base directory. The following files should be unpacked to the following directories:

    IFW2_Hypervoxels to Hypervoxels/HyperVoxels Presets
