Tile Series - Planks
This component creates a series of blocks laid out in the same formation are standard planks flooring.

Function Parameters
Mapping This parameter controls the mapping of the texture. The possible mapping types are Planar, Cylindrical and Spherical.
Planar Cylindrical Spherical
Sampling This parameter how the linked attributes for the component are sampled. The linked attributes may be the low/high colors, percentages or bump heights. The options are:
NormalThe linked component is simply sampled as is.
RecenterThe linked component is sampled based on a random offset for each tile. The Sample Offset parameter controls the maximum amount of offset. Using this method allow each tile to sample different parts of the linked component.
Single SampleThe linked component is sampled based on a random offset for each tile. However, the sampling is scaled to align to the sampling to the orientation of the tile. The Sample Offset parameter controls the maximum amount of offset. Using this method allows each tile to sample different parts of the linked component, aligned to each tile.
Horizontal Repeats This parameter controls the frequency of the texture in the horizontal axis. The larger this value the more times the pattern repeats and therefore the smaller it will be.
Vertical Repeats This parameter controls the frequency of the texture in the vertical axis. The larger this value the more times the pattern repeats and therefore the smaller it will be.
User Seed This parameter controls the seed for the whole pattern. By changing its value different patterns can be created.
Plank Length This parameter controls the length of each plank.
Plank Width This parameter controls the width of each plank.
Distribution This parameter determines which of the blocks are drawn. As this value gets lower less and less of the available blocks are drawn.
Groove Width This parameter controls the width of the groove between each plank.
Bevel Profile This is a link only parameter that allows the bevel profile to be defined using another component. Generally, this would be linked to a generator component.
Common Parameters
  Noise Magnitude
The Noise Magnitude controls the size of the Turbulence that is used to "stir" up the texture. As the Magnitude value is increased the amount by which the pattern is disturbed is increased.
  Noise Scale
The Noise Scale parameter controls the frequency of the turbulence, that is the periodic frequency. When the scale is at a high value the turbulence will be tight and crinkled and will become increasingly smoother as this parameter is decreased.
  Noise Octaves
The Noise Octaves parameter controls the number of times noise is summed in order to generate the turbulence. Turbulence is generated by summing noise with each summed noise being half the magnitude of the previously summed noise. The number of times the noise is summed is determined by octaves. So, at low values the turbulence will be smoother and will increase in detail (due to the fact that the summed noise is getting smaller) as the number of octaves is increased. All this basically means is that the turbulence becomes more "crinkled" as the number of octaves is increased.
Noise Omega
The Noise Omega parameter controls the granularity of the turbulence and is only used when it is non-zero. The higher the value the more granular the turbulence.
  Noise Velocity
The Noise Advection parameter controls the speed of the noise over the whole animation cycle. Basically, the higher this value the more active the noise is.
Noise Time
The flow noise can be animated by morphing the Time parameter.
Color Only Parameters
Low Color This parameter sets the start color for the texture pattern.
High Color This parameter sets the end color for the texture pattern.
Percentage Only Parameters
Low Percentage This parameter sets the start percentage for the texture pattern.
High Percentage This parameter sets the end percentage for the texture pattern.
Bump Only Parameters
Low Bump This parameter sets the start bump height for the texture pattern.
High Bump This parameter sets the end bump height for the texture pattern.
Bump Scale This parameter controls the overall scaling of the bump height. When it is positive it controls the height of the bumps and when negative it controls the depth of the pits.

Tweak This means the parameter can be tweaked.
Link This means the parameter can be linked.( = Can be randomized)
User This means the parameter can be controlled by the user.
